FROM
THE RECTOR
On the 29th
January we had a visit from the students of Mount Seskin
Community School
(formerly Jobstown) who are studying religion as a Junior Certificate exam
subject. I showed them around St. Maelruian’s and spoke to them both on my role
here in Tallaght and as Canon of Christchurch Cathedral where I also brought
them for a visit.
On 12th
February I was delighted to attend the installation of Rev. Stephen Neill
(Archbishop John Neill’s son) in Celbridge which is also grouped with Newcastle, our
neighbouring congregation. We send our best wishes to Stephen as he takes up
his new parish.
