It’s hard to believe that it’s already February and we are beginning to prepare for our annual display on April 29th. Staff have been meeting to search for and discuss items so that the work can begin. We have had some new members since September, so it’s good to see the numbers grow each week. Plans are in hand for a trip to the cinema, as well as a visit from the Fire Brigade and a visit to the Garda station.
We are actively looking for new leaders for next September. Ideally, someone with some experience of Boys’ Brigade would be good, but training courses are ongoing throughout the year. What is required is a total commitment to attending Boys’ Brigade every Friday night, between 7pm and 10.30pm and to have a genuine interest in working with the boys and implementing the programme.
